Finding the healthy balance between empathy and self-care

Description

Knowing what is good for others is an important skill in dealing with people – whether on the ward, in a nursing home, or in your own family. But if I only perceive what the other person needs and no longer feel what is good for me, I have lost the healthy balance between empathy and self-care. In this workshop, we explore ways to restore this healthy balance between empathy and self-care using practical mindfulness-based exercises (MBSR).
