Description

Both patients and their relatives often experience psychological and/or physical crises and moments of great tension. Nursing and healthcare professionals are faced with multiple challenges: not only do they need to respond appropriately, but they also have to manage their professional daily routine and personal challenges.

This requires targeted expertise to assess situations in a timely and objective manner and to respond correctly.

Goal:

Based on theoretical models, exemplary case studies and practical examples will be worked through together. This allows experiences to be incorporated into professional knowledge. The understanding gained increases one's own range of actions and provides confidence in dealing with anger, insults and threatening situations. This enables escalations to be recognised and broken in time. Furthermore, reflecting on one's own conflict and communication patterns allows for the processing of personal blind spots and reduces the risk of psychological stress.

Methods:

  • Theoretical basics and models
  • Inputs and tips from practice
  • Case studies, scenarios and exercises
  • Video and image examples
  • Training and role-playing for transfer into everyday life
  • Reflection and feedback
  • Mutual exchange and discussion
