About the challenges of the nursing profession

Description

Violence against employees in healthcare and social institutions was long a taboo subject. However, aggressive actions such as verbal abuse, threats, or even physical violence are unfortunately not uncommon in the daily work life of those employed in nursing professions. These “incidents” must not be dismissed as occupational risks that each affected individual must deal with on their own. Works council members, who are often the first point of contact for those affected, receive information and guidance to provide assistance.
