Research findings show that humor promotes relationship-building with patients, can have a calming effect, and also serves as an effective coping strategy against stress.
Those who use their humorous attitude appropriately deepen relationships, can relieve difficult situations and find new perspectives, create a relaxed and friendly working atmosphere, and support both themselves and others in becoming more resilient in (professional) everyday life. We focus on how we can use humor to promote healthy, respectful, and happy (working) relationships and thus make ourselves mentally fit and strong for what needs to be done.
