Dobratsch Round Trail - Stage 2: Bad Bleiberg – Nötsch im Gailtal

The Dobratsch Round Trail connects, over five stages, diverse landscapes, cultural highlights, and impressive views around Carinthia’s oldest nature park. Over a total of approximately 85 kilometres, 2,400 metres of elevation gain, and with a walking time of around 25 hours, hikers experience the full diversity of the region: from gentle valley sections through traditional villages to scenic high-altitude trails. The Dobratsch Round Trail is therefore an ideal experience for anyone who wants to discover the nature park in its entirety – step by step, stage by stage.Stage 2: Bad Bleiberg – Nötsch im GailtalThe second stage moves from the north side of the Dobratsch into the Lower Gailtal, passing through very different landscapes. While the first section is still marked by mining, you soon enter rural areas before descending into the shady Nötschgraben, at the exit of which the friendly destination is located. The worthy finale is the "Wiegele Haus", which houses the museum of the Nötscher Kreis, a bakery, and a mill. The hike will be accompanied by Naturpark rangers.
