Description

The eLearning course „Theoretical Refresher BLS“ is aimed at PA, PFA and DGKP and provides a compact refresher of central emergency and basic skills in everyday nursing. In around 4 hours, important topics such as the legal foundations and competency areas specific to professional groups, the structured approach in emergencies (ABCDE scheme) and the basic measures of resuscitation (BLS) are taught.

Participants learn to correctly assess emergency situations, perform life-saving immediate measures and correctly use an AED device. The course is supplemented by airway management, the safe handling of peripheral venous access and the assessment and evaluation of vital signs. Acute complications in diabetes mellitus are also addressed.

As a pure e-learning course, it offers maximum flexibility: the content can be processed independently of time and location, and repetitions are possible at any time. The course is ideal for individual refresher training, as preparation for practical emergency situations and to fulfil statutory continuing education obligations.
