Introduction to Artificial Intelligence: Basics and Practice

In this practical course, participants will receive an easy-to-understand introduction to the topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Basic terms will be clarified, areas of application will be explored and concrete uses in everyday life and work will be demonstrated – for example in smart home systems, smartphones or social media. A special focus is placed on working with ChatGPT and other free AI tools. Participants will learn how so-called language models work and practice how to achieve optimal results through targeted inputs. The course is complemented by practical examples, exercises and a critical examination of the opportunities, limits and risks of these technologies. The course is aimed at all interested parties. No prior knowledge is required.
