Description

End-of-life care and dealing with the end of life have been discussed in Austria for many years. The Constitutional Court (VfGH) announced its decision on 11.12.2020 that the ban on any form of assistance in suicide is unconstitutional. It violates the individual's right to free self-determination. In this seminar, you will learn how assisted dying is discussed in Austria, what the current legal situation stipulates, and what the VfGH decision means for nursing professions.
