Description

You will receive a practical introduction to the professional use of Microsoft Copilot in the Microsoft 365 environment. The focus is on concrete application in everyday working life: you will learn how Copilot efficiently supports work processes in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. General AI basics are deliberately omitted – the focus is on application-related added value and the precise formulation of work assignments for high-quality results.

Requirements

 

  • Basic user knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Access to a Microsoft 365 environment with Microsoft Copilot activated
  • No in-depth prior knowledge of artificial intelligence or prompting required

     

Hardware needs

  • Laptop, tablet or desktop computer with speakers and microphone or headset, webcam 
  • A stable internet connection

Course content

  • Introduction to Microsoft Copilot as an integrated AI solution within Microsoft 365
  • Basics of prompting in the context of Microsoft Copilot: formulating work assignments clearly, in a structured manner and in a goal-oriented way
  • Practical use in MS Teams (meeting preparation, minute-taking, follow-up)
  • Use in MS Outlook (efficient email processing, summarising content and scheduling appointments)
  • Application in MS Excel (analysing, structuring and interpreting data)
  • Working in MS PowerPoint (creating, revising and optimising presentations)
  • Use in MS Word (creating, revising and condensing texts)
  • Data protection, data security, compliance and responsible use of Copilot
