The in-person information evening “Discover educational pathways” at the Arbeiterkammer Kärnten offers parents and young people a well-founded orientation in the diverse range of educational opportunities. In a clear and compact format, participants receive a structured overview of school-based and vocational educational pathways in Austria.
The event will present, among other things, AHS, BMS, BHS, Polytechnic School, apprenticeships (including apprenticeships with Matura) as well as further options such as colleges, universities of applied sciences, universities, teacher training colleges, private universities and the Dual Academy. Additional topics include funding opportunities, study financing, study abroad, voluntary year and orientation year.
A central part of the evening is the on-site personal advice: experts from Bildungsberatung Kärnten will be available to answer questions and support individual decision-making processes. Participation is free of charge.
